In World of Words, bilingual (Spanish/English) facilitators provide updated facts on how literacy affects children’s health and well-being. They discuss how a print-rich environment in the home makes a positive impact on a child’s reading skills. Thank you to Carlos and Margie for coming to our school and sharing with our parents how important reading is for our students. As a gift for participating, all parents received a Bilingual reading book, online resources, and a fun Mad Lib Game to help promote some of the fun strategies they learned during the Adult Workshop.
